We were very busy today. In the morning I worked on my jigsaw puzzle while Duane sat around watching tv.
Our friends Wallace and Wanda invited us for dinner, which meant we sat around eating and yakking instead of playing pickleball.
Before we knew it we'd talked the afternoon into the evening. Duane walked home (a block) while Wanda recruited me to fill in for an absent member of the Hand and Foot card game.
For the rest of the night I put some more pieces into my puzzle while Duane kept my comfy recliner
warm and we (re)watched one of our favorite movies--Sweet Home Alabama.
Tough jobs, tough day, but somebody had to do it.
Resting tomorrow with pool and pickleball.
