Our Newest Home

Gunnison Lakeside RV Park is located in the Curecanti National Recreation Area across the road from Blue Mesa Reservoir.  The Curecanti area encompasses a narrow strip along the Gunnison River.  Here the River has been dammed to form three reservoirs:  Crystal, Morrow Point, and Blue Mesa.  The Area offers sightseeing, two marinas—each with a small grocery, boat rentals, guide service, slips, and showers, Hiking trails, camping, picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing, and hunting.

The one  building on the property houses  the office, camp store, utility room, 2 showers/restrooms, and a laundry with 2 washers and 4 dryers.

The pull-thru sites are gravel and level with 50 amp full hookups.  We have room to park the truck behind us.  (We pulled up to make it easier to get the bike in and out.)

Tomorrow we plan to do a little sightseeing in the Curecanti area.
