Mud Fritos

I had to take my sweet potato’s pulse to make sure it was dead before I cooked it.

I took a nature walk here at the park looking for snakes.  I found two Madrean Alligator Lizards.  They were in two different places and each was about a foot long.  They are very shy.  I was lucky to get these shots of this one which I think is a juvenile.  If you look closely you can see bits of red and blue

and one of its tiny feet alongside its body on top of that stick on top of the leaf.

Moving day tomorrow.
