North Ranch Escapees RV Park just south of Congress, AZ is empty this time of year, but will be full starting in October when the fall and winter activities start. There 111 back in sites, all pretty level, all gravel, all 30 amp full hookup with plenty of space between. There is one row of mesquite trees on one side (in the background, left),
but very few in the other two rows. Since we couldn’t have that one,
we picked the very last one for the view of the desert and the mountains on the north
and the Cactus Garden across the street on the east.
Adjacent to the rv park is the residents’ area. This is a small village of (I think) about 400 lots. It is beautifully maintained.
Lot owners can live in their rv’s or build any kind of one story dwelling from a park model to a rambling house. Some like to landscape with a lot of plants,
some with none.
There are several public green spaces that the residents collectively maintain (the Cactus Garden is one).
Some decorate their houses
and some decorate their yards.
We will be enjoying this park until the end of this month.
