Our summer traveling companions, Brock and Leola, missed us so much that they rode an hour to have lunch with us. They had not met Gene and Barbara, so of course we invited them. We also invited Cliff and Judy, but they had a prior commitment.
Coming out of the Saddle Mountain RV Park in Tonopah AZ, I shot over my shoulder and got Brock and Leola on Spyder, and Gene and Barbara in the distance in their truck. Not bad!
Getting acquainted and enjoying lunch.
Not done chatting yet.
We can see this house from the pickleball court and got a closer look at it on the way to lunch.
On the way back we couldn’t believe that anyone would build such a steep driveway (that wide spot on the left is a parking place.) I wondered why they stopped short of the top to build their house.
If there is a drawback to the rv park, it is this chicken farm across the street. At least once a day the breeze will bring the smell of the place into the park, and on warm days we get some flies.
Home again in time for a few afternoon pickleball games with Cliff and Judy.
Still enjoying ourselves,
Louise and Duane

We were just talking last night about the RV park and the chicken farm. I read two other blogs where both couples were going to stay a month and left early because they couldn't stay the smell. We didn't smell anything when we were there two years ago.
Another day of just enjoying the good life.
