When we are prowling the trails looking for trash we sometimes come across things that make us look twice, or sometimes three times.
On first glance this looks like a discarded tissue.
A closer look reveals an oddly shaped fungus.
This "pile of poop" is really decayed fungus.
This is really what it seems--trash somebody didn't feel like carrying once it was empty.
This blue leaf took three looks to figure out.
Yes it is a real leaf, but not a natural one. This one is made of fabric.
We look, we find.
