Family Time

 It was a month since we saw the family, time again for breakfast at Denny's with Allie, Luke, and Jeremy.  Jennifer, as usual was sleeping in.

After a leisurely breakfast and lots of chat, we went to the house to check progress on the fishing shack.  We usually take the Mule (4 wheel drive atv) down the road to the river, where we see the building on the right and the pond on the left.

Last month the fishing shack had a coat of primer,

and the pond was a muddy mess from recent heavy rains.

This time we approached from the opposite direction through the woods.  We saw that the pond had regained its beautiful green color.

We saw the rope swing up close,

and across the pond we saw the dock and the fishing shack,

resplendent in its new red coat of paint.
