Sorta Constructive

With no nowhere to go and all day to get there, we opted to stay inside out of the wind most of the day.  In the evening the wind died and we were able to set up our pickleball net and hit the ball around for about an hour.  Back home Duane, ever vigilant, disclosed that we were about out of chocolate chip cookies.  For our next treat I decided on a pan of blonde brownies.  These are really easy to make.

Preheat oven to 350 d.

Mix together 1/2 a yellow cake mix, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup water, and 1/4 cup brown sugar, then mix in the other 1/2 cake mix.  Add chocolate or other kind of chips, nuts, or whatever.  Spread in a 9 x 13 oblong cake pan.  Bake 20-25 min. depending on preferred gooeyness.

That'l last us for a few days.
