Over the mountain
and through the pass
to Colorado we went.
The truck was great pulling the trailer weight
where the GPS sent (us).
Through grassy wide valleys and rolling hills
under a sun of gold
spying tame life
and wildlife
we enjoyed
watching the scenery unfold.
Safely arriving at our home for two weeks,
we finally stopped to rest.
Looking forward to fun,
(hope the wildfires are done)
As we further explore the West.
It was a long drive!
