Twins Choice

Our girls decided how we would spend their day with Grandma and Grandpa.

Lunch was at Taco Bell/KFC.  Gramps opted for chicken, but we girls like our tacos.

Goofing off is an essential part of lunch with us.  Next was the movie Rock Dog with popcorn and sodas, of course.  We all enjoyed this movie. The girls (age 8) had no trouble following it.

After the movie we took them on a tour of our house before time to head to the gym.  Their conclusions—”it’s really small” and  “you have everything you need”.

The girls became very interested in how Grandpa was putting the walls on the frame of the new play place that we started erecting a couple of days ago (see Cooperation blog).

They became Grandpa’s Washer Girl and (Bolt and) Nut Girl.  Both turned out to be pretty good at tightening bolts with the drill.

Before dark caught us we managed to finish putting up the walls (which make a little playhouse under the platform), finish the climbing walls and attach the slide, and  had only the ladder and steering wheel left to put on.

Pickleball again tomorrow morning then back for more family fun.
