Today we were going to ride the bike somewhere, but ended up slumming all day. In the evening we went to the kids’ to help get the yard ready for the wedding, with Jennifer working mainly in the house. While Jeremy raked pine debris, Luke and a friend spray painted a target so that it wasn’t so noticeable.
In true boy fashion, they dragged something out of hiding into plain sight and painted it too. They left it there, of course.
Next was a game of throw the can over a limb.
Grandpa, Allie and I did our part. We held down the porch swing and kept the pets busy.
Gramps put away the pogo stick,
and helped Luke practice his baseball moves.
Allie planted some daffodils,
and did a nice job of it, too.
She showed me her new trampoline moves before the mosquitoes chased us inside.
A bit of homework. I put this in because both kids have very nice desks and chairs in their rooms where they can work in quiet comfort. Instead they fold up on the couch and use their knees for a desk or use the table. Goofy kids.
Goodbye family, hello new moon.
Tomorrow the wedding couple arrive.
Louise and Duane

Lots of excitement around that house.
Duane....you make me nervous on the pogo stick. They don't need you to break a leg before the wedding.
