Yesterday we started out to walk a three mile loop through the trees. We made it about 3/4 of a mile before the rain chased us home, but we were able to find some interesting scenery.
huge vines resembling anacondas
an inviting footbridge
signs of a controlled burn from a couple of years ago
eroded tree roots making an interesting design
colorful fungi
