How to fix your rv oven.
First turn off the gas to the oven and inspect your parts. This thermocouple releases the gas so that the pilot can light the burner. The long skinny rod is the thermometer which goes into a little hole in the back oven wall.
Next unhook the tubes from the old part and remove the thermometer from the oven and up through the hole at the back of the stove.
Step three--discover that one of the screw holes for the tubes is too small. Remove the old receptical and use it to replace the smaller one. (In the top picture this is the gold piece. It was about a millimeter smaller.)
The next step is to put all of the old parts back together. Turn the gas back on and check all the stove burners for leaks. Light the oven to make sure it's working properly, then you're done.
That's one way to spend a rainy afternoon.
