The icky weather rolled in early and changed our plans for a ride today. We lounged around until after lunch then walked to the pickleball court. Duane didn’t play. He was resting a strained muscle. I played with this group. They are better players than I am, but I am a better player because of them. Duane presented his carving of Pickleball Man to Keith, the North Ranch resident pickleball promoter and teacher. Keith has a particular stance that he uses when the serves are being made. Duane captured that stance in his carving. The M on the hat is for Michigan, a long time football rival of Ohio, where Duane hails from.
Pictured below are about half of the 1 o’clock group. L to R are Jim, Duane, Keith, Tom (peeking out), Martha, Carey, and LInda. Martha and Linda also play with the 3 o’clock ladies group.
Only three days to Christmas!
Louise and Duane
