We cleared the house of 6 boxes today and picked up two. One has Christmas presents—yay! The other contained this stack of towels. For her present, my sister requested that I put crocheted tops on them. She sent three for herself and three for our other sister. She even sent me a sample. I’m glad to comply, but I think that she’ll be surprised to find that each towel makes two.
To scratch his itch, Duane is making a carving of a pickleball player. He drew a rough sketch on a piece of paper, and then on a block of wood, and borrowed a fellow carver’s saw to cut it out.
He spent the evening roughing it out. Right now he calls it ET because it has an “alien” face.
We never get tired of the beautiful sunsets here.
The first night of the December full moon with a rare moisture halo. Beautiful!
Tomorrow we visit the mine.
