More changes—from fall
to Christmas
wind chimes to ornaments
mundane bric-a-brac to
the religious side of Christmas and
the secular. I like to have balance. Our little tree is decorated with souvenirs of our travels. Here you can see Hershey kisses from the Hershey factory Pennsylvania, the St. Augustine, FL lighthouse, Mission Santa Barbara from CA, and shells and pine cones from our Pacific Coast tour.
I even invaded Duane’s man cave. I thought it interesting to superimpose the decorated Christmas tree decal over the Mesquite tree outside with the fall colors on the tree in the distance.
Nothing to do now but relax and read Christmas stories. Right now I’m reading a short story anthology called Christmas Crime. Nothing like a bit of larceny and a ghost story or two to brighten up the holidays!
