Tropical depression Harvey made the weather officially nasty (cold and wet) all day. At supper time we took ourselves down the street and around three or four corners to visit (daughter) Stacy and (her partner) Ruth Ann for supper and visiting. Their apartment is cozy and comfy, and seemed big after our small space.
I merely turned in place to take these two pictures
Their dinner table is bigger than ours. That’s a joke—we don’t have one.
Ruth Ann made a delicious dinner of salad and (thaw and heat) lasagna while Stacy and we sat around yakking. Thank you Ruthie!
For dessert Stacy shared her custom made Hershey bar she made during their tour of the PA factory.
We spent the evening ignoring the weather and chatting with Ruth Ann’s niece who is attending UC. We met her family when we visited them in NY, and again when we stayed at her parent’s house outside Philly and toured the city with her and her sister. It was fun seeing her again and hearing about what she’s studying in college.
We left about 10 pm with plans in place to be picked up at 10 am for our day trip.
Tune in next time to see where we go.
Louise and Duane
