Home From The Valley

In yesterday’s blog I erroneously said that the solar panels  in this large array were pointing north.  I have corrected that to say that they are facing east.

I ended yesterday at the Saddle Mountain RV Park, which we wanted to check out for future reference.  From there we turned left and rode to that mountain in the distance, then turned left again.

This part of Tonopah Valley is the lowest at 1300’.  Not much grows here but desert scrub, except in one area we passed outside Tonopah.  There they are growing things.

It’s amazing what a bit of water will do.

As always on our rides, we had a rest stop/turn around spot.

building a new Dollar General store across the street from the Tin Top, and

We took this road across I10 then turned left on 355 and went past the large solar array again.  This time the panels are facing west.

Down this road we reconnected with Vulture Mine Road, viewing Vulture Peak from the south side.
