Change Of Plans

This morning as we were all getting ready for our bike ride to Jerome, a wind sprang up, black clouds started to gather, and on-the-spot weather reports reported storms heading directly along our route.  We decided to postpone our ride until tomorrow and do chores today. 

The expected rain did come, the clouds cleared, the sun shone.  In the evening we had beautiful pink clouds in the eastern sky,

and the south,

while in the west the setting sun lit the sky in orange.

In the north, however, black clouds were gathering again, and dropped more rain on us later.

Tomorrow’s forecast is for perfect riding weather.  Jerome—here we come!
