Our travel day from Harlingen to Freeport consisted of 300 miles of gray.
Sometimes it was difficult to distinguish the water from the sky.
The ocean is on the horizon but you can't see it for the fog.
It was worth it. Dinner with the family (son Jesse, daughter-in-law Katelyn, granddaughter Bella) put the color back into our lives.
