For the past couple of weeks Duane has been having trouble with his left calf. The left leg has given him the most trouble since the surgery, and is still more swollen than the right. When we were walking one day it suddenly started hurting so much that he had to quit walking and limp home. The pain lasted a while, but went away. After that, it sometimes hurt when we walked, sometimes it only twinged. After thinking about it a lot, I thought it might be a vein constricted from the swelling. I decided to check his medicines again. I noticed that he was supposed to be taking a full strength aspirin twice a day. He thought that he was supposed to take it once. After taking it twice a day his leg pain left and hasn’t returned. Now he can comfortably walk two miles at a faster pace without calf pain. He doesn’t think the change has anything to do with it, but it works.
In other good news, our old office chair has a new life. Allie and Luke have adopted it as their new favorite indoor toy. They love sitting in it and scooting around in it.
Road trip tomorrow.

Oh that dang medicine can really screw the body up. We just went through that with my dad. The doctor prescribed twice the dosage that his body could take. All is under control now. Glad Duane's is too.
