After enjoying a morning of nowhere to go and nothing to do, we decided to hop the bike for a tour of Fort Washita Historic Site. Fortunately and unfortunately Duane found this screw in the front tire of the bike. A 40 munute ride to Texoma HD in Sherman disclosed that the screw went into tread so that the tire did not need to be replaced. This put us too late for our fort tour. We opted instead for a bit of pickleball practice. That didn't last long because the court was not enclosed and we got tired of chasing balls.
We decided to walk around looking for chain saw art.
We found a loop of rustic cabins in the woods
A closer look at the mini golf revealed that it was more "adventure" golf.
We found the sand volleyball court next door.
And this is how Texans bbq
I'll leave you with some holidays that you should put on your calendar:
April 30 is National Honesty Day
May 4 (tomorrow) is Star Wars Day
May 6 is Space Day
I only tell you this because I know you are most anxious to celebrate these special occasions
Here today, fort tomorrow,
Louise and Duane

What neat chain saw carvings. The putt-putt course looks a bit challenging, especially The last hole...lol Cute.
